Jorge uses an assistive device to communicate - Goodwill of Orange County

Meet Jorge,
The Face of Independence.
Jorge sat isolated in his high school classroom, unable to participate much due to severe cerebral palsy. Fortunately, a dedicated educator referred Jorge to Goodwill’s ATEC program. ATEC’s speech and language pathologist equipped Jorge with a device activated by a simple switch that he taps using his head. Jorge was able to graduate from high school, and now he’s in college preparing for his future — a future of independence.
