Effective Strategies for Self-Sufficiency

Every day, Goodwill of Orange County works wonders in the lives of those who would otherwise struggle against great odds. Our united effort provides the hope, independence and pride needed by people faced with disabilities and other barriers to independence.

Goodwill of Orange County’s EmploymentWORKS program is a supported employment program providing services to individuals who are seriously and persistently mentally ill, or who have co-occurring drug or alcohol abuse disorders.

Most adults with mental illness desire to live their lives in as full and complete a way as possible. They have the same basic desires as any other adult: an education, a decent job, a place of one’s own, friends, intimate relationships and family.

Thank you for believing in me.
