Mr. Severson is a member of the Board of Directors and serves as Chair of the Fitness Center Committee. He also serves on the Budget, Finance & Investment Committees. He is the founder of the SCI Special Fund, a not-for-profit that assists individuals with spinal cord injuries to maximize their independence.
Mr. Severson is equally active in the real estate industry, and community organizations such as the American Paralysis Association and Casa Colina. He is the 2002 recipient of Goodwill's An American Tribute Award, a past recipient of Goodwill's Walter Knott Award and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1997-1998.
